If you do not sleeve your cards, then fitting all the components is relatively straightforward. Place each theme pack into a separate compartment.
Separate the tokens into groups:
Coins and Alien Influence tokens fit in the central compartment.
Scorepad slips down the side of the tray, and the pencil fits in the central compartment. These can be left out entirely if you use the Unfair Scoring Web App
Game Changers and Sneak Peek cards need to double up with other theme packs. You can use a slip of paper or a folded card to separate them.
If you prefer to sleeve your cards, it is still possible to get everything in the box, but it is necessary to store tokens that are not in common use under the tray.
The spare tokens such as the You Are Here markers, the spare Starting Player, flat versions of Alien and Dinosaur reminder markers, and the Randomiser tokens, along with most of the Mesmerism tokens, and about half of the Insurance Excess tokens, are good candidates to go under the tray.
Depending on what you use, you may also be able to store the other Randomiser tokens, and all of the Insurance Excess tokens, if you don't make use of the Business Insurance game changer card.
Shown on the left: tokens that are essentially surplus to most requirements.
Shown in the middle: tokens that many will not use frequently.
Shown on the right: tokens to retain above-ground, so to speak.
Place the spare tokens in a large ziploc bag, and flatten out the air before sealing.
Lift out the tray and place the ziploc bag flat underneath. If your box includes cardboard reinforcements for the central channel, you will need to hold these in place when replacing the tray.
Replace the tray. The sleeved cards will fit one per compartment, with the Game Changers and Sneak Peeks in the back of two compartments, separated by paper or folded cards.
The standees fit head-down into the Alien and Dinosaur compartments, with the Mesmerist tokens in the Vampire compartment. The Starting Player marker fits the same way in any available compartment. If you retain the Randomiser tokens, they will likewise fit beside one pack of cards.
As with the Unsleeved version, the Coins and Alien Influence fit in the central compartment.
Board, reference cards, and rulebooks replaced.
Lid on, with everything in one box. It is, without doubt, a bit cosy, but everything is present in case you need it.
As with the Unsleeved option, the scorepad slips down the side of the tray, and the pencil fits in the central compartment. These can be left out entirely if you use the Unfair Scoring Web App
We are planning a deluxe "big box" to hold all 26 themes and their components, but this won't be available until the game is completed with the final expansion.
In the meantime, the crowdfunding campaign for the CHKO expansion includes a simple optional add-on storage solution, to allow more cards to be stored in the main game box.
