Since no limitation is specified, you may use this action to build from your hand or directly from the Market.
There is nothing preventing you from building more than one dinosaur animal upgrade with this ability, even in the same round using another Park step action, so if your original dinosaur is demolished or moved, you can use the ability again to add another.
You can even build another dinosaur while one is already present, but remember that only the strongest one will survive!
