Print & Play Resources

Unfair is available now in retail stores. If you would like to see the full details of the game, or try-before-you-buy, these Print & Play files are for you!

These files are provided for personal use only. They may be printed on your own printer or at a commercial copy / printing centre, providing the copies are for your own use and not for sale.

Current version is Release 1.02b, updated 1 December 2016

1.02b is a minor change to add a permission message to the card files, to explicitly allow printing for personal use, as some print centres were refusing to print due to the copyright notice. No cards or rules have changed from 1.02.

Feedback is welcome, on the game and on these files. If we can make these easier to use, please let us know.

Note for existing PnP players

There are changes to most of the cards, including some new icons for attack and defense cards, and reminder icons for Guests step abilities. There are also minor adjustments to clarify wording, and standardise capitalisation and styling of text.

However, we understand if you've already printed 300 cards, you may not care to print them all again, so we've prepared a file that has only the cards that have changed in a way that affects the gameplay, and not just the graphics. Be warned, some of these cards have the new icons, so your set will be a little mismatched without a full reprint.

Card reverse - 56 card pack, 8up layout, A4/letter printable PDF

The card reverse is the same for each theme pack. This can be printed directly on the reverse of the card sheets if you are printing on card stock (and your printer is good enough to line them up). Otherwise print and cut individual cards, and match the colour of the card backs with the colour of the card fronts.

Print 1 copy for each theme pack, actual size, and cut individual cards.

Summary cards

The theme packs technically have 57 cards each now, including an individual Round and Scoring Summary card, but to save printing a page with 1 card on it for each pack, we've merged them all into 1 file.

(Honestly this is here mainly to show you what to expect. Actually matching the cut-lines front and back, or cutting out hex shaped tokens is a lot of effort when you could use basically anything else as money instead. Poker chips work well.)

Additional items

You'll need something to use as a Starting Player marker.

You'll need something to use as money. During prototyping and testing we used poker chips, and set their values to 1, 5, 25, 125.

You'll also need something to use as a Current Step marker. We've found a large dice (or die, for the purists) is a good size and easy to slide down the Current Step track.

Sleeving

We recommend plain clear sleeves if you plan to print both front and back of the cards, and using a cheap playing card or leftover common Magic card to give some stiffness. For six theme packs, you'll need 348 clear standard poker-sized sleeves, 2.5" x 3.5" or approx 63mm x 89mm.
